Welcome!

The Carlisle Seventh Grade Play is a longstanding community tradition. According to one CPS alumna, it dates all the way back to 1979!

Much has changed in those 32 years. Most significantly, it has gone from being a school-run program to a parent-run extracurricular. This means that, quite literally, we -- all of us -- run the show. The seventh grade play exists only if seventh graders and their parents step forward to make it happen.

The four of us were delighted to offer ourselves up as producers for this year's show, and we feel particularly lucky to have found talented youth director Mary Spinosa-Wilson as our professional partner in this endeavor. The current seventh grade is a large class with a diverse range of talents and plenty of interest in putting on a production, and we are very excited to be working with them!

From now right through our final performance, we'll be using this website to disseminate critical information about the production: everything from cast list to rehearsal schedule (important for both kids AND chaperones) to costuming information to props requests to evolving volunteer needs. If you are a student or a parent involved in the play, please check the site often for new information.
